Spank Rock, qui devait jouer au Primavera Sound le vendredi 1er juin après Kid Koala, a annulé sa venue au festival pour raisons de santé.
C'est ballot.
Pour information, à la question "quel est votre video-clip préféré de tous les temps?", Naeem Juwan (MC Spank Rock, moitié du groupe) répondait:
"It's not a video, it's from a movie, but relates to music. Pooty Tang a movie by Chris Rock and friends has a scene where, the main character, Pooty, sings a duet with Missy Elliot, and one of the women in the audience really loses it and follows Pooty back to his hotel room, where Pooty fights his way into the door, and leaves the groupie ouside. She starts begging for Pooty to come back and let her in for a good fuck. You can hear him unlocking the door expecting him to fall weak and let the whore in. Instead he cracks open the door just enough to slide out a suace of milk, and relock the door!"
Je n'ai pas trouvé l'extrait en question, mais j'ai une intro, voilà, j'ai la conscience tranquille. En plus à un moment il y a une chorégraphie. Je ne connaissais pas ce film, apparemment c'est l'histoire d'un mec avec une chemise violette qui se bat avec une ceinture.
Comme ça ne nous consolera pas de l'absence de Spank Rock au Primavera, j'ajoute le clip de Rick Rubin, réalisé par Jesse Gorham-Engard en 2006 et qu'on avait déjà évoqué ici.
En espérant que Naeem Juwan se rétablisse au plus vite.
